Hisashiburi! Long time no see.
So, after a month or so hiatus, I have returned to the world of blogging. Having much to rejoice, with a freshly elected democratic congress and Rummy getting sacked and all, I am once again invigorated and ready to write myself silly. So, without further ado and with Harry Potter (I am a recent convert) as my muse, I shall recommence my ramblings about Japan and my life in it.
So a couple of weekends ago me and the Burgmeister travelled to a real, live, active volcano where I learned a most shocking secret. As it turns out, my father is not, as I once suspected, the mailman. Rather, I was surprised and indeed a little disconcerted to find that I share a uncanny resemblemence to certain volcanic formations (damn my nose):
You can see the similarity, no?
In other exciting news, my favorite Japanese drama (in fact, the only Japanese drama I watch), "The Fourteen Year-Old Mother" grows more gripping by the episode. To provide readers with a rough outline, the plot goes something like this: a 14 year-old middle school girl hops on the good foot and does the bad thing with a 15 year-old middle school boy (whose mother is famous) and, as the title of the show would indicate, becomes pregnant and decides to have the baby. Normally all would be well and good, however, a reporter stumbles onto the story and publishes a rather scandalous article, besmirching the good names of both families involved. That about brings us up to present. I promise I will keep you updated.
Also, it should be mentioned that although she is fourteen, she is among the most beautiful Japanese females I have seen. Rarr.
That is all.
